- have standard locks which do not prevent key duplication or protect against physical attack.
- have ever given others a copy of your key.
- have never changed your original locks.
- have created a "burglar friendly" environment.

1- Do the locks and keys on your home require your authorization in order to be duplicated?
2- Do you have deadbolts to secure all doors leading outside or to an attached garage?
3- Have you trimmed your trees or shrubbery around your house to eliminate hiding places for criminals?
4- Are your home and yard well lighted?
5- Can you ensure that no unauthorized copies of your keys have been made?

BUSINESS
1- Are you able to control the duplication of keys by your employees?
2- Can you account for all outstanding copies of your keys?
3- Do you limit access to your safe and change the combination?
4- Is your outdoor lighting sufficient enough to deter criminals?
